Hynix, Toshiba settle chip patent dispute
Tokyo (Japan) - Hynix Semiconductor and Toshiba announced that the two companies have signed patent cross licensing and product supply agreements. All pending patent-related litigation between the companies in the U.S. and Japan have been settled as a result.
Details about the cross-licensing agreements were not disclosed ; however, the firms said that both companies will be allowed to "use one another’s semiconductor patents."
