Hynix and Sandisk reach patent deal
Hynix and Sandisk have reached a patent deal to cross-license their flash memory products. Royalties from the deal could boost Sandisk earnings a few cents per share in the coming quarters. Analysts say the royalties could eventually add 10 cents to per share earnings.
Shares of Sandisk jumped $1.32 to $43.23 in Wednesday morning trading.
