Looking at OpenGL titles, there are only a few and the mainstream ones use the Doom 3 engine (Doom 3, Quake 4 and Prey). The GeForce 6 and the subsequent GeForce 7 architectures were built to make the most of the Doom 3 engine and the performance shows in the test results. The GeForce 7950GT pulls ahead of the Radeon X1950 Pro by good margin.

Looking at the price-to-performance figures again, the secondary cards out perform the superstars. What is interesting to point out is that the Radeon X1950XTX ends up with similar price-to-performance ratios but the GeForce 88000GTS delivers 10-20 more frames per dollar spent.
