Microsoft Recommends Chrome for Hotmail.. Huh?
If you're having problems with Microsoft Hotmail, skip Microsoft Internet Explorer and go straight to Google Chrome.
Microsoft has overhauled its Hotmail but not all of its 350 million users are having it as smooth as they used to under the old system.
Part of the reason is that the modern Hotmail requires a modern browser. What's most interesting is it that Microsoft is suggesting to users who have problems with the new Hotmail to use Google Chrome rather than Internet Explorer.
“Some customers have indicated that if they use Google Chrome to view their Hotmail account they no longer encounter this problem,” said Microsoft, according to the Register.
Microsoft has told Hotmail users via the forums that those trying to use the webmail service should not use Safari 3 or Firefox 2 – both of which have been replaced by significantly newer versions.

How unusual...
Nah microsoft are usually pretty honest, its normal behaviour for them..
..these modern "must slander others to sell stuff" companies could learn a thing or two from MS if you ask me.
Yeah i think they themselves are hoping for a complete overhaul with ie9 rather than a bodge up of ie8

allthough as long as they keep the inprivate filtering it's a good thing imo ...the only issue is if they change it too much all the businesses that rely on the functions of ie for certification etc might have trouble with a complete rewrite ..
i suppose they have alot of people to please and there's that old saying "you can't please all the people all the time" ..which is a shame as we all want it our way i guess.
It is however nice to see things progressing and also nice to see that they are open enough to admit blunder (allthough as far as i'm aware they allways have, not to say the anti MS brigade will feel the same as i eh).
Anything honest is a good thing
LOL @ the spam here ...it is allways footwear too, do they think that PC geeks move alot more than your average person?

Crazy people!

Yah I use chrome exclusively for porn and my college email, my college uses hotmail for its student email addresses and I can only login half the time with firefox or IE but it seems to work with chrome everytime.

Agreed again.
Every time I use Chrome to access my Hotmail account I get the same "error" - after selecting an e-mail or folder, if I browse back using my 5 button mouse or the backspace key I go back to the hotmail login screen....

Agreed once more.
