Home Depot moves on-line
Home Depot Canada will launch an e-commerce site on Nov. 3 at a time when some other big-box retailers have either abandoned selling on-line, or stayed away from it because of limited business. "Home Depot, with 99 stores across the country, will roll out its domestic shopping site with 68 items, including holiday gifts and cards, and expand it to as many as 5,000 goods eventually, said Pat Wilkinson, director of marketing."
