Hitachi unveils 677MHz chipset for Itanium 2
Tokyo based Hitachi today announced the development and operational verification of the world’s first chipset supporting Front Side Bus (FSB) speeds of 667MHz for the Intel Itanium 2 Processor.
Hitachi will be exhibiting its BladeSymphony product powered by the FSB 667MHz chipset at the Intel Developer Forum this week in San Francisco.
