Hitachi to reopen Yamanashi TFT driver IC factory
Hitachi plans to reopen its Yamanashi Prefecture-based 8" fab for LCD driver IC production in August, according to recent Bloomberg and Dow Jones reports. The factory has a capacity of processing 3,000 8" wafers monthly.
