Hitachi to pay Rambus royalties
Hitachi, following in Toshiba's footsteps, has settled with Rambus. The Japanese company has agreed to pay an upfront settlement fee and royalties for interface technologies in SDRAMs, DDR SDRAMs and controllers that interface to them. All litigation between the two will be ended.
