Hitachi subsidiary files PDP patent infringement lawsuit against LGE
Hitachi Plasma Patent Licensing (HPPL), one of the subsidiaries of Hitachi, recently announced that it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against LG Electronics (LGE) and its subsidiary LG Electronics USA, in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The complaint alleges that LGE’s PDP (plasma display panel) products infringe seven patents owned by HPPL.
