Hitachi opens Mobara V3 TFT LCD factory
After a one-year delay from its original schedule, Hitachi's display group recently opened its V3 TFT LCD factory in Mobara, Chiba Prefecture. Furthermore, the company announced on July 1 it will invest an additional 23 billion yen to double the factory's monthly processing capacity to 40,000 730 x 920mm substrates by April 2003.
