Hitachi intros IPS TV
This is a novelty that almost passed undetected... we will not explain what TV means, but rather focus on IPS. Simply put, IPS technology is different from the TFT Liquid Crystal, as it uses "Low-Temperature Polysilicon". The advantage of IPS is a color rendering that is superior over the rendering of a traditional TFT screen. Also, the viewing angle can also reach the 180-degree barrier. This is the first TV set to use this technology. Expect a price of about $600.
