Hitachi GST HDD shipments to double this year
Hitachi Global Storage Technology (Hitachi GST) expects its 2005 sales volume of 1" microdrives (miniature HDDs or small-form-factor HDDs) to grow by more than 200 percent, while its 1.8" model sales should grow 300 percent from last year.
