Hitachi gets more serious about its hard drive business
Hitachi is trying to put itself in a better position that enables the company to better capitalize on the booming hard drive market.
The firm said today that Hiroaki Nakanishi, chairman and chief executive officer of Hitachi GST, will resign from his current positions of executive vice president and executive officer of Hitachi and chief executive officer of Hitachi North America. Nakanishi will be solely focusing on Hitachi GST in the future, the company said.
