Sony Corp. and three other Japanese electronics companies will collaborate to develop a way to record and play high-definition digital video on cassette tapes now in use, the companies said Friday. "The group, which includes Canon, Sharp Corp. and Victor Co. of Japan, plans to complete the technology by September."
