Heavyweights Join in Linux Desktop Push
Linux has made most of its gains in the server market, but IBM - along with several other industry heavyweights - has announced plans to enlarge the scope of the OS’s adoption. At a technology conference this week, IBM executive Samuel Docknevich gave a speech entitled, "The Time Is Now For Linux on the Desktop".
