Hawking Technologies ships MIMO wireless router for Mac users

IRVINE (CA) - Hawking Technologies today announced that it has started shipments of a high-speed enhanced-range wireless router designed specifically for Mac users.
The company said the HWRGM1A Hi-Gain Wireless-108G MIMO Router with AMP Technology achieves raw data rates of up to 108 Mbps and uses "amplified MIMO smart antenna technology" to boost range. The Mac-specific features include product documentation, installation wizard and "testing and optimization for use with Apple based wireless products".
Other features include three removable antennas, 10/100 switch, SPI-based firewall and WEP and WPA wireless security.
The HWRGM1A is available immediately for around $110 street.
