Patriot PC2-10100 (PDC22G10100ELK , 2x 1 GB)

No extraordinary cooling solutions, no fancy colours, no sophisticated product name. Patriot's highest end DDR2 memory is simply called PC2-10100 (it does have a part number, though: PDC22G10100ELK). On paper, this should be the fastest DDR2 memory available. Indeed it did well, although the DDR2-1333 speed - which we were able to run on the Corsair Dominator (with occasional crashes) - could not be reached by the Patriot DIMMs that should be nominally faster.
The PC2-10100 kit ran reliably with CL4-4-4-12 settings at up to DDR2-1200, which is something the Dominator didn't do. The fastest reliable clock speed on the Patriot RAM was DDR2-1280 at CL5-5-5-15 timings and 2.45 V. 2.45 V was also required for the record runs at DDR2-1200 speed and CL4-4-4-12. Clearly, the PC2-10100 DIMMs by Patriot move clock speeds and timings up the ladder.

Speeds And Timings

The PC2-10100 memory by Patriot was capable of running at DDR2-1200 speeds and CL4-4-4-12 timings. All you need is a supply voltage of 2.4 V.

The highest clock speed we could achieve reliably was 640 MHz or DDR2-1280. We had to apply 2.45 V and CL5-5-5-18 timings.
