Hannstar to roll out 17" widescreen monitor panels
Hannstar Display plans to begin producing 17" widescreen monitor panels in small volumes in October, according to company vice president Chin-Hao Chou.In addition to supplying its own Hanns.G brand, the panel maker will initially ship the panels to Turkey and other emerging markets and HannStar aims to see shipments for the segment reach 300,000-400,000 units per month by the second quarter of 2007, Chou said.
