HannStar denies rumors it is slashing 17" panel prices
David Joe, executive vice president and spokesperson of HannStar Display, has denied the rumor that HannStar recently cut its 17" LCD monitor panel price to US$155.
Joe indicated that HannStar is not selling its panels for US$155 since this would be below the company’s production costs. The price of its high-end 17" monitor panel is currently US$175, with low-end models priced US$5-10 lower, Joe added.
