Hackers hit Virgin America website
San Francisco (CA) – A cyber attack slowed down ticket sales at Virgin America’s website yesterday. According to company officials, hackers initiated a denial of service attack which slowed the website to a crawl. The airline is in the middle of selling heavily discounted tickets to kick off the inaugural flights starting on August 8th.
