Hacker Mitnick: Free at last. . .and fightin' mad
After almost five years behind bars, notorious hacker Kevin Mitnick was declared a free man. His first act upon emerging from federal prison was to slam the government prosecutors and a New York Times' reporter who he blames for his notoriety and incarceration.
Mitnick was orginally indicted for misuse of telephone company equipment, including illegal wiretaps and copying proprietary source code from Motorola, Sun Microsystems, NEC and Novell, among others.
