Coming soon: Guiness Book of Video Game Records
London (England) - Guiness World Records will announce at the London Book Fair that it is working on its first edition of a book of video game records.
In addition to player records such as fastest times and high scores, the book will include categories that include best-selling games and consoles of all time.
"Our record researchers are already scouring the videogaming community for superlatives, and the vast number of games, gamers, developers and platforms mean that we have an incredible pool of content to dip into each year. It’s going to be a very exciting project," said Guiness World Records editor in chief Craig Glenday.
The Guiness World Records - Videogame Edition 2008 will be officially announced during the UK trade event between April 16 and April 18.
