Guilty plea in Windows source code case
William P. Genovese Jr., 28, of Meriden, Conn., pled guilty in the Manhattan federal court to charges that he unlawfully attempted to sell and sold portions of Microsoft’s source code for Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000, according to a statement by the U.S. Attorney Office for the Southern District of New York.
