Grandsdale/Alterwood won't work on Windows 98/ME
Intel said it won’t have any drivers for future Grandsdale/Alterwood chipsets. It comes as a surprise as even Microsoft decided to offer more support for Windows Millennium edition, due to delays on the Longhorn project.
