Publishers sue search engine Google
The internet has revolutionised the way we access information, but it’s created multiple corporate headaches over copyright.
Music publishers and movie producers have fought to protect their products, and now book publishers are following suit.
The Association of American Publishers, which represents some of the world’s biggest publishing houses including Penguin and Simon and Schuster, is suing Google over its plans to create a giant on-line library, copying millions of books onto the internet.
