Google in talks with Asustek, Gigabyte and MSI for new server orders
Having recently awarded Gigabyte Technology orders for server motherboards, Google is already in talks with Asustek Computer, Micro-Star International (MSI), as well as Gigabyte, for supply of new 4-way server motherboards, according to industry sources. The new orders are expected to be smaller in shipment volume than those Google has recently awarded Gigabyte, but the profits margins will be higher, the sources said.
