Google Earth gets Winter Olympics extensions
Google said it has updated its Google Earth application that will allow users to get a better overview of the locations of the upcoming Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy. Google Earth now features impressive high-resolution imagery and placemarks of the competition venues, the Olympic villages Bardonecchia, Sestriere and Torino. The image data is complemented by a wealth of information about the events as well as an event schedule.
Users can install the placemarks through a link posted on Google’s general blog.
