Google Chrome Now Has 200 Million Users
Google's web browser is continuing to attract users for its web browser at a fast pace.
According to the company, there are now 200 million active Chrome users. Back in May of this year, the number was at 160 million. In December 2010, the company said it had about 120 million users.
Market share data from StatCounter estimates Chrome's share at about 23.6% for September. Firefox was at 26.8% and IE at 41.7%. In October, it appears that Firefox will hold its market share stable, while Chrome will be climbing to close to 25% and IE may be dropping below 40%.
There is also indication that Chrome will soon be released for Android as early as next week as part of the Ice Cream Sandwich release. Google has not released usage numbers for Chrome OS, which could also be lifting Chrome numbers. However, Google CEO told investors during yesterday's Q2 earnings call that the company is "beginning to see lots of interest and good uptake, both from the businesses and educational institutions."

I tried to use chrome as ie9 seems buggy, and chrome may be fast but it has no features it is so simple, compared to all the options of ie9.
For instance ie9 has delete browser history on exit which is great.
Another annoying thing is you cannot disable tabs on chrome, and when you open up a new window it shows you all the websites you have previously accessed with no way to stop it.
Not good if you wanna watch a bit of porn lol

Chrome offers both of these functions.
Press Ctrl+Shift+N and you will open an 'Incognito Window'. Every site you visit while in this window will leave no traces whatsoever. Ideal for watching porn
You can make chrome delete all history on exit via the 'Settings' page.
Chrome's ugly and huge UI combined with insisting on using the system proxy settings instead of having its own make it useless for me.
I like Chrome and have been using it for well over a year now, but I'm actually using Opera more and more.
Yuo can just click the x in the corner of the window on Chrome to remove the site you were on just like closing a window in Windows.
Chrome is just good for its own features such ass background layout and favourites toolbars but im just used to firefox which a bit more serious and better for my use
