Google, Comcast mull AOL buy
Google and Comcast are talking to Time Warner about buying the more attractive parts of AOL and leaving Time Warner to figure out what to do with AOL’s fading Internet dial-up business, according to reports.
Recent press reports have had Time Warner in talks with Microsoft, Google, and Yahoo about either a purchase of AOL or a partnership that would merge AOL’s extensive Internet businesses with any or all of the portal businesses of the three.
