Gigabyte announce GA-7VT600 1394
Gigabyte just sent over a press release announcing their latest motherboard based on the VIA KT600 chipset, the GA-7VT600 1394. The board features SerialATA, 8 USB 2.0 ports, IEEE1394 FireWire, 6-Channel Audio with Jack Sensing Support, and an Ethernet 10/100Mb LAN controller. "Supporting the new 400MHz FSB, KT600 provides a high bandwidth of 3.2GB/s to unleash the full power of AMD AthlonTMXP processor. The advanced FastStream64 DDR400 Memory Controller of KT600 collaborates with the 400MHz FSB to provide a perfectly balanced subsystem, greatly reducing data latency and enabling searing performance from the 400FSB processor. In addition, the KT600 supports the latest AGP8X for deriving maximum performance from the most powerful graphics accelerators."
