by - source: Tom's Hardware US

Ready for more box shots? We thought so... but this time we have some full frontal of hardware for you to feast your eyes on too!

As we inch closer to Nvidia's official launch of Fermi next week, it's only natural that we start seeing more details leak out from OEM product partners.

We know that most of you are clamoring for more scrumptious box shots, but as a bonus today we've also come across on Chinese site Expreview (translated) some full-frontal pictures of XFX's GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 cards.

I don't really care for the gun barrel grey, but other then that looks sharp.

Good looking card, again since all that shiny new metal will be upside down in your case and out of view... Still waiting for some real performance numbers before considering this as an order!!

Nice looking, lots of grey metal that give it a heavy-duty no nonsense look. Me likey! (altough ATI's 58XX series isn't ugly either, the batmobile is a cool thingy)

However, I'm having a hunch that this card might look better on pics than on a benchmark graph...

Sorry to say so, but if the numbers being put forward in the most recent rumours (+5-10% performance over the 5870 and 5850 and prices on average $100 higher than those of ATI's comparable offering) are true, they won't need to cut prices, it's Nvidia that will need to cut theirs. After all, they can't charge such a hefty premium for so little a benefit... And don't forget about the vast supply problems Nvidia is likely to experience, again allowing ATI to retain its market leadership for a bit longer.

I don't know. Have you seen the bread these days?

I don't want any neon lights on my machine. I don't want any noise that shouldn't come out of the speakers from my machine.

Its a box under my desk. Used for "work", games and Internet porn.

It also heats the room.
