Overclocker's delight: These Samsung GDDR-3 memory modules are rated at up to 500MHz (1000MHz DDR). The GDDR-2 modules found on the older version of the card were only designed for 450MHz (900MHz DDR). The "J" towards the beginning of the part number denotes GDDR-3 memory modules in Samsung's nomenclature. "D" represents GDDR-1, while N means the module is a GDDR-2 part. You can find more information about Samsung's graphics DRAM code information here .
