Avatar Reality developing online multiplayer game based on Mars
If the virtual world of Second Life is just too "Earth-like" then how about an MMO on Mars ? Honolulu-based Avatar Reality has announced that it is developing a massively multiplayer world set in beautiful terraformed Mars.
"Our goal is to create an online virtual world that will feature the highest-level of fun, imagination, romanticism and creative freedom," said Avatar Reality, Inc. Mastermind Henk Rogers.
Other than company reps are not releasing any more details, but we did manage to grab a few more details from Avatar’s PR representatives. According to the rep, the game will be more along the lines of a Second Life with social networking and customizable avatars and property. In addition, development is in preliminary stages and the commercial game is still a few years away.
