Gateway Pocket PC made by Lite-On Technology, sources say
Gateway has placed its first Pocket PC ODM order to Taiwan's Lite-On Technology, sources said. The Gateway 100X , due out next month, will feature an Intel Xscale processor, transflective TFT LCD panel, 32MB of ROM and 64MB of RAM, and Secure Digital (SD) and CompactFlash (CF) expansion slots. It is expected to retail for about US$299. The deal marks Lite-On's first PDA order.
