Gateway bundles up entry-level desktop
Gateway has introduced a bundled PC, printer and Internet access package aimed at entry-level consumers and built around AMD's latest 475MHz K6-2 processor.
For $1,499, the new Gateway Select 475 bundle includes 64MB of SDRAM, an 8.4GB UATA hard drive, integrated audio and 8MB AGP video, an EV700 17" monitor, a 13x/32x CD-ROM drive, 2-piece speaker system, TelePath 56K Internet/fax modem, a color bubblejet printer, Microsoft Windows 98 and Corel Word Perfect Suite 8, and one year of gateway.net Internet access.
