Gateway announces 11g networked DVD player
Gateway today announced a new version of its Wireless Connected DVD player that supports 802.11g wireless networking and Microsoft Windows XP Media Center content.
The ADC-320 Gateway Connected DVD player ($199.99) is an upgraded version of the product introduced last summer, now with the ability to connect to 802.11g networks. Existing players can be upgraded with a firmware update and Gateway 802.11g DVD card, which is available for $50.
The new DVD player also supports streaming content recorded via the Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004’s Personal Video Recorder (PVR) function.
The player is available now.
