Game extravaganza E3 Expo '99 kicks off
More than 1,900 new titles have already been introduced at E3Expo, running through May 15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Among the announcements at the sold-out show:
- Eidos Interactive says David Bowie will star in new game title.
- NVIDIA and Acclaim Entertainment Inc. form strategic alliance to team up on developing next-generation 3D entertainment titles.
- Hasbro Interactive inks deal with Sony Signatures to license worldwide rights for arcade classic Q*Bert.
- NFL superstar Jerry Rice, MLB slugger Barry Bonds and World Cup goalie Tony Meola team-up with Humongous Entertainment for gaming deal.
- Enhanced Memory Systems ships first true PC-133 HSDRAM DIMMs geared towards computer gamers, high-performance PC users.
