Futuremark releases "objective patch" for 3DMark03
Benchmarking firm Futuremark quietly released a patch to its 3DMark03 software last night which it claims "ensures objective performance measurements" with the latest hardware and drivers on the street. "The program’s code is changed so that "possible optimisations" in current drivers don’t work. A list of drivers tested to produce valid scores is on the Futuremark web site."
