Funk Software adds PocketPC 802.1x client
WLAN security solution developer Funk Software today announced a version of their Odyssey secure 802.1x access client for PocketPC-based devices. The Odyssey Client for Pocket PC WLAN supports EAP-TTLS, EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS, Cisco LEAP, and EAP-MD5 security protocols and can be used with any EAP-compatible RADIUS server.Supported PocketPCs include Compaq iPaq 3800 and 3900 series, Toshiba e74, Cassiopeia E-200, and NEC Mobile Pro P300 equipped with any 802.1x- compatible WLAN adapter card.A free Beta version is available now for download and the product will ship in May 2003 at a cost of $50 per copy.
