Fujitsu has redesigned its Lifebook notebook computer, introducing systems with new multimedia features, 14.1" displays, Intel's fastest mobile processors and built-in DVD.

New C Series systems also add a LifeBook Application Panel, which provides a personal CD player and application launch buttons for one-touch access to the Internet, e-mail and other user-configured applications.

The Lifebook E Series, targeting business users, is equipped with Intel's 400MHz Pentium II and Celeron processors, 10GB hard drives and standard Iomega Zip drives.

The B Series of mini-notebooks now includes a model powered by a 300MHz Celeron processor and featuring a 6.4GB hard drive.

All of the new Fujitsu systems will become available during the next two months through the Fujitsu PC Direct web site at www.FPCDirect.com .
