Fujitsu announces record growth of HD shipments during Q1 2006
Fujitsu Computer Products of America announced on 16 May its first quarter hard disk drive shipment results. During the period ended March 31, Fujitsu increased its mobile hard disk drive shipments for the fifteenth consecutive quarter to 5.67 million units, an increase of over 33% from the same quarter last year (1CQ05).
In addition, Fujitsu shipped 1.2 million enterprise hard disk drives, maintaining shipment levels from previous quarters in an increasingly competitive market environment.
