Fujitsu enters the car audio market
PC manufacturer Fujitsu decided to enter the market of car stereo/home theater/GPS solutions. Even more interesting is the fact that these products are able to record data to Memory Sticks in ATRAC3 format.
The E5505CMT is a 2DIN CD/MS/MD player (about $1000) that is MP3/WMA/ATRAC3 compatible. It has a very interesting function called E-iSERV. Bottom line is that you save the settings and songs on your PC for the payer and once inside the car, you upload them to your car stereo.

The AVN8805HD is a GPS enabled car stereo with a 40 GByte harddrive (10 GByte for music files). It is also DVD video compatible and includes a a MS slot (about $3600). The GPS system has a 7" WVGA TFT screen with 800x480 resolution. Like it’s smaller sibling, it’s MP3/WMA/ATRAC3 compatible and needless to say it also has a TV Tuner too.
