Fujitsu announces Transmeta notebooks
Fujitsu Ltd. will begin selling its first two notebooks next month based on Transmeta's Crusoe low-power chip. Both machines will be aimed at the Japanese market and will feature wireless Web access through plug-in cards. Prices will be $1481 and $1944 and will offer battery life of seven and eight hours.
