FTC slaps Palm's wrists for misleading ad
Palm has received a big telling off from the Federal Trade Commission for running ads on the Net which claimed falsely that m100, Palm III and Palm V PDAs were ready to connect to the Internet out of the box. The truth was, the models needed add-ons, and connectivity options, all of which cost extra money.
