One of the most successful game franchises in recent years has been Electronic Arts' Battlefield series. Its ability to take players from all over the world and join them in the huge battles of World War II (and now Vietnam) as either foot soldiers or tank drivers has changed the face of online gaming.

One of the most successful movie franchises of all time is the Star Wars saga. LucasArts decided to get EA's peanut butter on its chocolate and has created a game they are hoping will unleash the "Star Wars Kid" in all of us.
