French Linux vendor doesn't surrender to Microsoft
Paris-based Linux vendor Mandriva is joining the ranks of Ubuntu and Red Hat this week by giving Microsoft the cold shoulder on licensing deals. Mandriva CEO, Francois Bancilhon made this point succinctly in the company blog : "We also believe what we see, and up to now, there has been absolutely no hard evidence from any of the FUD propagators that Linux and open source applications are in breach of any patents."
