Freecom announces 1 GByte credit card
Freecom Technologies announced the second generation of its credit card sized mobile storage device "USBCard Pro". The device fits into the credit card slot of any wallet, is waterproof to 60 feet, and comes with magnesium casing.
The card is shipping now and offers memory capacities of 256 MByte, 512 MByte and 1 GByte. The USBCard PRO works with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS 9.1/10.x, and Linux 2.4. platforms. Pricing starts at $150 for the 256 MByte version. (THG)
