Half-Life 2 developer and self-made independent games publisher Valve Software will offer its World War II online shooter, Day of Defeat Source, free of charge for a weekend via its Steam distribution system.
The free weekend will begin at 12 noon PST on Friday 02/10 and will give those who have not purchased the game a full taste of the action. Users can pre-load the game via Steam all this week so that they will be ready to rock come the strike of noon on Friday.
