Foxconn to break into eight business groups in six-year restructuring plan
Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) said it will install two regional operation bases in Europe and North America and divide the company into eight business groups as part of a two-phase, six-year restructuring plan. The eight groups will cover precision injection molds and machinery processing, Internet networking products, electronic components, wireless products, consumer electronics, PC systems, servers and networking equipment integration products.
