Foxconn expanding components business
Foxconn Electronics (the registered trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry) is expanding its parts and components business in order to further consolidate its vertical integration and cut costs amid declining margins from its assembly operations, industry sources said. The EMS giant declined to comment, saying expanding operations and improving business are certainly goals of the company.
